Roles and Responsibilities

.Net Technical Lead is responsible to writes complex software programs from design specifications; Plans, executes and documents unit tests; Reports status and issues; Documents detailed designs; Accountable for unit test leakage; Contributes to and may decide upon system architecture and design decisions.

• Develop overall technical strategies for external client projects from technical requirements.
• Communicate with external clients on a regular basis regarding progress, challenges, timelines and end results of client projects
• Create technical estimations.
• Present technical strategies to clients and gather technical requirements as needed.
• Create and update design and functional documents.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Perform a mix of maintenance and new development as required.
• Implement project applications according to specifications.
• Research technical issues and provide recommendations to enhance client websites.
• Work both independently and as part of a team to create reliable and high performing e-commerce & mobile sites.
• Unit test code to ensure quality.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
• Perform code review sessions with other developers and suggest improvements or alternate approaches when appropriate.
• Assist project managers and directors with the creation of task-level project plans that detail the specific tasks required to deliver a solution.
• Work closely with project managers and account managers to ensure that client expectations are met and that the team adheres to project schedules and budgets

Technical Competency

• Should have solid experience on and be able to trouble shoot HTML, CSS and JavaScript/jQuery issues.
• Any knowledge of Shell script, .Net 2.0, BizTalk will be an added advantage.
• Should have ability to quickly learn and support other technologies from the core skills.
• Very good communicator. Should have experience in communicating with direct client. • Onsite experience
• (preferably US) is an added advantage.
• Should be available to work in our regular shift time but be responsive and ready to stretch beyond as and when needed.
• Should have handled at least 5-member team for guiding, performance improvement and aligning them for project success and be hands on developer for own tasks.

Functional Competency

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in computer science.
• 8-10+ years hands-on experience in software design and development, database design and development, and system integration.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Flexibility, energy, and ability to work well with others in a cross functional environment.
• Should be able to learn and upskill in new technologies.
• Being a team player can deliver in a high pressure and high demanding environment.
