Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Developer with a strong background in data science. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust applications, as well as leveraging data science techniques to analyze and transform data into valuable insights. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and analytical skills to drive innovative solutions that meet business objectives.

1. Application Development:
   • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using .NET technologies.
   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, converting them into technical specifications.
   • Ensure application performance, reliability, and scalability by adhering to best practices in software development. o Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, and conduct thorough testing and code reviews.
2. Data Science & Analysis:
   • Perform data mining, preprocessing, and transformation using languages such as Python and R.
   • Develop, optimize, and implement machine learning models to address complex business challenges.
   • Utilize statistical analysis, data visualization, and data modeling techniques to extract meaningful insights from large datasets.
   • Manage and process large volumes of data through effective ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) methodologies.
3. Data Integration & API Development:
   • Create and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate data integration between .NET applications and data science platforms.
   • Ensure data integrity and consistency across applications and support seamless data flow.
4. Business Collaboration:
   • Engage with stakeholders, product owners, and business analysts to identify data-related requirements and provide data- driven solutions.
   • Present analytical findings and recommendations to business teams to support strategic decision-making.
5. Documentation & Continuous Learning:
   • Document application code, algorithms, data pipelines, and processes for future reference and knowledge sharing.
   • Stay current with advancements in .NET development and data science, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation.

Technical Competency

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8 to 10 years of experience in data science or machine learning.
• Proficiency in data science tools (Python, R, SQL) and Power BI.
• Experience in .NET technologies (ASP.NET, C#, .NET Core) would be a plus.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and data visualization techniques.
• Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL), ETL processes, and RESTful API development.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non- technical stakeholders.

Functional Competency

• Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and solve complex problems.
• Skilled in troubleshooting application issues and enhancing functionality.
• Capable of conveying technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Efficient in managing tasks, meeting deadlines, and handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
