Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead IT Engineer to oversee our IT infrastructure and guide the technical team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with network administration, firewalls, Linux systems, and virtualization technologies. Excellent communication and leadership abilities are essential for collaborating with teams and managing projects effectively.

• Lead the IT team in managing, maintaining, and upgrading the company’s IT infrastructure.
• Design, implement, and monitor secure and scalable network systems.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers and environments.
• Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, and other network security measures.
• Deploy and maintain virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox).
• Ensure data integrity, system availability, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Document processes, configurations, and procedures.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior IT staff.
• Communicate effectively with management and non-technical stakeholders.
• Should have Dev-Ops knowledge.

Technical Competency:

• Proven experience in a senior or lead IT role.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with configuring and managing firewalls (e.g., Fortinet, Cisco ASA).
• Expertise in Linux server administration (CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Proficiency in virtualization platforms (VMware, Proxmox, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.

Functional Competency:

• Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, RHCE or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Scripting knowledge (Bash, Python, PowerShell).
• Exposure to DevOps tools and methodologies.
