• Job Title:- Software Engineer – Iterable Platform
• Type of Position:- Contractor
• Experience:- 6 to 8 Years
• Job Location:- Pune / Remote (as per project need)

Roles and Responsibilities:

To ensure success as an Iterable Email Platform Developer, you should be able to build scalable email workflows, manage complex datasets, and optimize automation journeys. You should be a strong communicator and highly collaborative, working closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, development, and data teams.

• Participate in requirement analysis and help define workflow architecture within the Iterable platform.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design, build, and optimize email automation workflows and customer journeys.
• Manage and execute data migration tasks, including mapping, cleaning, and importing data into Iterable.
• Develop and maintain segmentation logic, event triggers, and personalized messaging strategies.
• Create well-structured, responsive email templates using HTML/CSS and Iterable’s template engine.
• Integrate Iterable with external systems via APIs, webhooks, and data pipelines.
• Troubleshoot workflow issues, debug data discrepancies, and ensure accurate customer event flows.
• Continuously improve existing workflows and automation strategies based on analytics and campaign performance.
• Maintain documentation and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serve as an Iterable subject-matter expert and provide technical support to internal teams.

Technical Competency:

• Hands-on experience with Iterable Email Marketing Platform – including campaign setup, workflow building, data management, and platform operations.
• Strong expertise in building automated workflows, journeys, and engagement programs within Iterable.
• Experience in data migration from other platforms into Iterable (CSV imports, API-based transfers, data mapping, data normalization).
• Proficient in API integrations (REST APIs), working with webhooks, and connecting Iterable with third-party tools / CRMs.
• Strong knowledge of segmentation, audience management, event tracking, and personalization within Iterable.
• Experience with HTML/CSS for email templates, responsive email development, and dynamic content.
• Working knowledge of SQL for querying, validating, and transforming marketing datasets.

Functional Competency:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in email marketing platforms, preferably with Iterable.
• Strong expertise in data integration, migration, and workflow automation.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder-coordination skills.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt and upskill in new marketing technologies
