Job Details

  • Job Title:- Junior/Senior/Technical Lead (WordPress)
  • Type of Position:- FTE
  • Experience:- 3 to 15 years
  • Job Location:- Bengaluru/Pune/Mumbai – Hybrid Model

Roles and Responsibilities

For Jr and Sr. Developers  

  • Interacting with Clients on daily basis to understand the task requirements.
  • Coordinating with cross-discipline team members such as project coordinators, designers, developers, and QA team to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
  • Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
  • Monitoring project progress and implementing changes where necessary.
  • Evaluating standards of work delivery.
  • Compiling project reports and informing management regarding problems.
  • Ensuring the work complies with best practices, SOPs, PMO policies, and other policies.
  • Conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Staying up to date with industry developments

For Technical Leads

  • Provide leadership in finding/developing new technologies and methods to advance the company’s web offerings.
  • Manage and design the architecture of our web site and CMS.
  • Be responsible for product quality and timeliness of product delivery.
  • Review and take part of defining the software development best practices and processes.
  • Support and represent the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Design and develop awesome new features.
  • Project deadlines and product launches & releases Test UI and fix Cross-browser/Cross-device compatibility issues
  • Provide weekly development tasks & milestones for team members Implementing best practices and coding standards.

Technical Competency

  • WordPress Projects, building complex, high-traffic websites with WordPress and custom PHP.
  • Expertise in creating and implementing custom themes, plugins, and Gutenberg blocks.
  • Experienced in connecting WordPress to third-party services using RESTful APIs and plugins.
  • Strong front end skills including solid experience with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript libraries such as Bootstrap, jQuery, and good understanding of CSS.
  • Very good understanding of code versioning tools – Git and ticketing tools – JIRA
  • Should be able to independently delivery assigned modules with very little handholding needed.
  • Should have good knowledge of PHP/MySQL/jQuery/WordPress
  • Plugin/Theme Development and Customization
  • How to write Gutenberg Blocks and Customization/HTML or HTML5/jQuery/JavaScript/ NPM Packages and Node Modules
  • Preferably should have knowledge about Solr/Elastic/Pars.ly/Lytics/Google Analytics Dimensions and Events/Google Tag Manager Management

Functional Competency

  • Any Graduate/Postgraduate/Any Engineering
  • Should be a Full stack Developer
  • Experience Range:
    • Jr. Developer – 3 to 4 Years
    • Sr. Developer – 5 to 8 Years
    • Technical Lead – 9 to 15 Years
  • Must have Team Leading experience for Technical Lead position.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
