Roles and Responsibilities
We are seeking a business analyst to join our project team. You will work alongside other business analysts and report directly to the project manager. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Business Analysis & Documentation
- Understand business requirements and provide effective and scalable recommendations based on industry trends and business dynamics.
- Develop detailed Business Requirement Documents and convert them into functional requirements.
- Create flow diagrams and functional workflows to map business processes effectively.
- Identify potential project risks and proactively communicate slippages to management and clients to ensure timely mitigation planning.
- Project Coordination & Stakeholder Communication
- Organize and lead internal and external meetings to discuss project scope, updates, and deliverables.
- Capture any new scope discussions and align with the Project Manager for future considerations.
- Ensure clear and mindful communication with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic Research & Industry Knowledge
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, challenges, tools, and best practices relevant to the project domain.
- Reporting & Presentations
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports to monitor project progress.
- Prepare discussion points and PowerPoint presentations for weekly and monthly business reviews.
- Develop dashboards for data visualization and performance tracking.
- Project Management Tools & Process Expertise
- Hands-on experience with JIRA for project tracking and workflow management.
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and functional diagramming tools.
- PMP certification is a plus.
Technical Competency
- Should be proficient in BRD /FRD and SDLC
- Must have good knowledge of Agile technique (Scrum, Kanban, Project Backlog, User story).
- Should have hands-on experience with the Jira tool (task creation, task tracking, and report generation).
- Should possess strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
- Pharma, Lifesciences, Healthcare or Medical Insurance domain’s knowledge will be an added advantage.
Functional Competency
- A bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA.
- Minimum experience required is 6 to 9 years in a Business Analyst role.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Must have experience in capturing the requirements and maintaining the required documentation such as BRD, FRD, SRS using word/excel or any other requirement management tools
- Should have experience in any leading business domain; preferably Insurance, Healthcare, Life Science, Pharma.
- Should have experience in handling client UATs, reviewing QA artefacts
- Should have experience working across multiple teams and functions to ensure alignment
- Must have experience in clearly communicating requirement ambiguity, functional and technical dependencies, issues with scope, challenges in completing the scope as per the release timelines, rephrase requirement discussion interview questions in order to be sure that the question got right by relying on facts, not on emotions
- Flexibility, energy, and ability to work well with others in a cross functional environment.
- Should be able to learn and upskill in new technologies.
- Being a team player can deliver in a high pressure and high demanding environment.
